Rolex and equestrianism

To date, Rolex Testimonee Scott Brash from Scotland is the only competitor to achieve the feat, having done so across 2014 and 2015.

Launched in 2013, the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping is widely considered the greatest challenge in equestrianism. It rewards the outstanding rider who wins, consecutively, the Grand Prix at three of the four Majors, namely, The Dutch Masters in ’s-Hertogenbosch (March), the CHIO Aachen (July), the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament in Calgary (September) and the CHI Geneva (December).

Winning the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping was an incredible moment in my career. I can hardly describe my feelings and emotions when I held the trophy in my hands.

Created in 1926, it is also known as the Geneva International Horse Show. Held for the first time in 1967 in the medieval town of ’s-Hertogenbosch, The Dutch Masters combines the best of show jumping with the essence of dressage. Considered the primary equestrian competition in the Netherlands and classed as one of the elite events on the international equestrian indoor circuit, it attracts the best horses and riders in the world. The white handkerchief ceremony that closes the CHIO Aachen each year is a unique moment of communion between the fans, the riders, and their horses. The CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament
The North American rendezvous

Every year since 1976, the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament in Calgary, Canada, welcomes the world’s equestrian elite. Considered by enthusiasts to be North America’s premier show jumping competition, it attracts some 500,000 spectators over five days in September. Rolex has been Partner of the event since 1989 and became Presenting Sponsor of the CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix in 2014.

The creation of the Rolex Grand Slam has been highly beneficial to show jumping. Any rider who has taken part in a Major will tell you that the level of competition guarantees a spectacle like no other.
